News From Corinne and Adrian

This is our babies bum. (as scene on facebook) There are plenty more pictures where that came from but I thought the baby would make its big reveal and show her or his beautiful face after birth.

So we have been a little busy for blogging. Between school, work, church, baseball, trying to have a social life while being married we have neglected our blog. Well I say no more! We have a little one on the way and it needs to be properly documented as my mother would say. I guess I am not a great blogger because most of the time I hate talking about myself too much but oddly enough I love knowing how everyone else is doing, so please let me know! I am so lucky to not be the only one pregnant in my family, I have a 3 nephews on the way. My beautiful sister Bries baby boy is due in march, My brothers gorgeous wife Lindsay is going to bear the first boy to carry on the Batteen family name (and do it proud!) in february, and my brother in law and his beautiful wife sara are having a baby boy in April! We are one fertile family.

Back to Adrian and our family, we are first and foremost, exited to be parents. The feelings I have about motherhood are very special. I have been a nanny for two wonderful children that teach me something new every day. I learn the basics of motherhood From teaching a four year old girl how to put her seatbelt on, to cleaning up a 5 month old baby boys 7th poopie diaper that somehow got up his back and across the room, I learn patience, love, and sanitation methods on a daily basis. I love my Job and am so lucky that I will get to continue after the baby is born.

On to Adrian, he is of course still in school, about 2 months ago his grades went up, he will be on the deans list this quarter. I think the motivation is in my tummy! He has also been doing really well on the field. Its so fun for us to be the only married people on the team, I am Mama Gomez to boys on his team who are the same age as I am. Not only does he have more in common with his coaches but he gets good advise about fatherhood from them.

MORE TO COME SOON...
